This has been achieved through paying their fees at schools, providing them with scholastic materials, and buying sanitary pads to the girl children.

WHAT WE DO

Tooro Action for Vulnerability and Human Rights Uganda has invested wisely in fighting for the rights of the marginalized groups of people, conducted advocacy, and supported Agriculture. This has been implemented through programs aimed at fighting for the well-being of marginalized people. It has been done through providing legal aid to the LGBTQ youth by representing them in courts of law whenever they are arrested and criminalized and also finding means of skilling as a strategy for their empowerment. also through agriculture and value additions as a means of boosting their incomes, hence improving on their livelihood. Other marginalized groups of people include people with disabilities, women, and orphan children among others.

Meet Our Founder

Bazekukeeta Atanazio, the executive director of Tooro Action for Vulnerability and human rights Uganda since 2015. He has a master’s in international relations and diplomacy from the University of London UK, Master’s in human rights makerere university, He has also worked as a volunteer in the united nations
